Click to visit VeggieCooking.com Next attack "on" (by) America: Last week in August?
[Updated 8 September 2002] Fortunately no "attack on America" occurred during the last week in August. However, reports say that some air strikes have already been launched against Iraq, and hundreds of thousands of US troops are either in or on their way to the region. Dick Cheney is plugging his "weapons of mass destruction" pitch as a thin disguise for his next oil war, while he and his sidekick W have reminded us that they don't need approval from anyone to start military action. (Legally, the President has 90 days -- he can deploy troops in an emergency situation without Congressional approval, but must withdraw them within 90 days unless Congress follows-up with a war declaration.) Even their BP-Amoco puppet Tony Blair has joined in, with a promise of military help from the UK.

Popularizing a rich man's war with a "terrorist" attack may still be on the menu, however. Don't forget that the 9-11 anniversary is right around the corner. In fact, when I saw the suspicious activity mentioned later on this page, I initially thought of an anniversary attack. Many journalists already set the window of opportunity to influence November elections as August through October. The one-year anniversary falls within that range. Of course, even if we escape another attack on our own soil, it's always terrible for the people we're killing in foreign lands. But the good ole boys running our government don't care about their fellow Americans' lives, so why would they care about them damned ferners?

While we wait to see which city goes up in smoke (see below for why I suspect the Sears Tower is next), here's an interview transcript with something to think about:
LaRouche Interviewed on The Jeff Rense Show [http://larouchein2004.net/pages/interviews/2002/020826rense.htm]

[Posted 22 August 2002] My source for the 3-in-1 tool called me today, saying that a reliable source/friend claims the Iraq invasion will happen next week, the last week in August. He did tell me the exact dates, August 26th to 27th, I think, but I was typing an e-mail to my boss at the time and didn't bother jotting it down. All I remember is that it was early in the week, next week to be exact.

Unfortunately, due to the immense lack of support for the invasion, even within his own party, Bush may have to stage another terrorist attack to justify the next stage of his never-ending "war on terrorism" (war for more oil markets). It's anyone's guess what the next attack will be, but some in the alternative press are daring to say that it could be nuclear. I sure hope that isn't true. Some also think the next attack will be on California. Personally, I think Chicago is the target, based on what I've seen in the area over the past couple of weeks...

What's in North Carolina?
During the past couple of weeks I've been traveling to see relatives, and have witnessed some strange truck activity on both the eastern and western sides of Chicago. I'd have to check my logs for the exact dates of the incidents here, but everything I'm about to mention happened in August 2002. That's a 3-week time frame at most, which is a very small window for a probable paramilitary operation.

The first incident is the oldest; it happened maybe a couple of weeks ago. I was traveling south on I-94 in Wisconsin, just north of Racine/Kenosha, heading toward Pleasant Prairie. Pleasant Prairie is one of my past residences where I still have a few buddies, and it's also the last town on I-94 before the Illinois border.

Traffic was a bit crazy that morning, so I exited at the Mars Cheese Castle (I forget the highway name, but there's only one Mars Cheese Castle on that stretch), and decided to take the frontage road south a bit. When the frontage road started to turn around one of the Racine highways (C or 20 or something), a huge white truck was blocking the road, backing out of a small hotel's front parking lot. I patiently waited for the truck, which was moving much too slowly and awkwardly, even for its massive size. At the time I thought it must have a new truck driver. The white male driver then pulled back into the hotel parking lot and waited for me to pass. It was then that I noticed the truck next to him, and other trucks parked on shoulders in the area. They were all oversized 18-wheelers, built with plain white vertical metal strips, riveted at close intervals. Every one of them had a North Carolina license plate. Some had plain silver and black lettering saying only "Thomasville" on the sides, near the rear of the truck. I think that's a furniture manufacturer, and it could be located in North Carolina. At first I was amazed at the trucks because they all looked heavy duty and brand new, and all were traveling together in a sort of convoy. However, as I exited onto Highway 50 toward Kenosha and Pleasant Prairie, things started to get strange. Really strange.

A few of the monstrous trucks pulled into a little self-storage place. It's a facility with a locked gate, but for some reason the gate had been left wide open that morning. This looked rather strange, and I was curious about the shiny new trucks. I pulled into the facility myself, and parked several units in front of the first parked truck. As I made myself look busy moving things between my back seat and trunk, I noticed the drivers and passengers exited their trucks and met with each other before unloading anything. The person exiting the front truck was a chubby white female in her 40's or 50's, with curled brown hair and wire-rim glasses. I think her passenger was a white-haired, white male in his 50's or so. People emerging from the trucks behind her appeared to be dark-haired males in their 30's - 50's. All spoke English with American accents. One of the thin, brown haired males had a slight southern accent.

The white female then opened her truck and took out a very small item - 2 pieces of Styrofoam on top of each other. It looked like laptop computer packing. She put it on the ground, just outside of an open storage space, and left it there while unloading. While I was there, the Styrofoam was never lifted off of the ground, or the object it was holding. The workers then hesitated, and talked, and hesitated. I wondered what they were going to unload, and also dug my camera out of my bag while waiting. I took a couple of photos of the trucks and styro packing while standing at the side of my car, trying to snap the photos when no one was looking. Then I heard the female say "that's just what we need, for people to know what we're doing." What? Now I was really interested. I dug my video camera out of the trunk, and set it on the ledge of my car's back window. I opened the trunk first, though, so the video was recorded through the crack. Even though the camera had a clear view of the workers, they'd have to really look hard at the car to see it. I then milled about my car as if everything was normal.

The group of people finally started to unload some furniture. But I was struck by how little they did. There were a few chairs, a big bundle of white cloth bags shrink-wrapped together in a large square, a couch, and a bookcase. So why did they need three big trucks to rendezvous at a storage facility on the same day, at the same time, probably 1,000 miles away from where they started, to deliver what appeared to be a living room suite to one little storage space? After a few minutes, I realized they were no longer doing any work, probably waiting for me to leave before they unloaded whatever mystery items came next. So after a while, I did leave, but then circled back for one last look without stopping to park. Two of the trucks were still there, with a rear door open on one that showed a chair in plastic wrap, with some sort of wall behind it. In fact, the open side door also seemed to have a wall behind the furniture sitting at the edge. What an odd mode of construction.

Now in all fairness, the interior walls could be to prevent the furniture, only wrapped in plastic, from scuffing each other. And I suppose they could have a really bad manager who'd pay to have three trucks meet up at the same little storage facility to deliver a few pieces of furniture. But more likely, maybe they were delivering a large shipment of drugs -- the CIA is heavily involved in drug trafficking, so the large government/industrial-strength trucks would be logical, as would the large shrink-wrapped square of white "pillows". Or perhaps the employees were stealing a few pieces of furniture to sell later. The strange behavior could just be part of a larger theft ring. But it would be unusual for so much effort to go into something so small. And what was in that laptop-sized Styrofoam packing?

When I finally left the storage facility, I was surprised again on Highway 50 in Kenosha/Pleasant Prairie. Two more similar white trucks were roaming around that highway, one turning onto Highway 50 from a side street. The elderly, white male driver had a rather sinister grin on his face. I didn't bother to drive down that road to see if there was yet another storage facility. I assumed that there was, but I'd had enough of strange activities for the morning. I could sense something wasn't right, and was already wondering if this delivery was destined to attack the Sears Tower in neighboring Chicago. There'd already been warnings on the mainstream media that America's tallest buildings were primary future "terrorist" targets.

Then about a week later, the Indiana side of Chicago gave me something to wonder about. Late at night, around the 14th of August, I was driving west on I-80 through western Indiana. The goal was to bypass downtown Chicago from the south, and then head north to Wisconsin. As I was leaving a rest area, somehow I found myself in the midst of a convoy of new-looking, small yellow Penske trucks. A white, dark-haired female driver stopped to let me in, and I found myself in a group of about a half dozen trucks, all with Indiana tags. One of those trucks was towing an empty car trailer with no license, and yet another was towing a minivan with a North Carolina tag. North Carolina again? What's in North Carolina?

Judging by the way the Penske trucks jumped from bumps on the road, they appeared to be empty. So I'd assume the trucks had just been manufactured in North Carolina, and were all being shipped to an Indiana terminal. The van must have been for the drivers' return trip. It was all very logical, until you figured in the escort vehicle. A mean-looking, middle-aged white male with a military haircut was sticking to the convoy for the entire time I had it in sight. He was driving a van that looked similar to the North Carolina vehicle in tow, although I forget the state of his license plate. His license plate, as well as the other license plates involved, are buried in my log items, though. And why did all the trucks stick together so closely, unless it was for security purposes -- the protection of "the spook in the minivan?" They could have all met up at the terminal as they arrived, or agreed on a rendezvous point near the terminal, maybe sat back and had coffee until the others arrived. Again I wondered about strange convoys of trucks near Chicago.

The final incident happened today, and it was a small one. I was heading east on West Oklahoma in Milwaukee, when suddenly a small yellow Penske truck pulled out in from of me, from an I-894 freeway off-ramp. He took a left turn heading east on Oklahoma, hit a curb and easily bounced up as though the truck was empty. The truck then immediately turned left again, back onto I-894 in the other direction. Whether a confused, empty Penske van in Milwaukee is related to the vans in Indiana I don't know, but this van did look new, was the same size, and had an Indiana license plate. I just wonder what it was doing in Milwaukee... And if I've seen this many trucks personally, how many are really out there, doing the same thing? They could be swarming on the area, for all I know. Just after the Penske truck exited back onto I-894, a maroon car with a Virginia license plate appeared, continued east on Oklahoma, then turned south a few blocks later onto South 76th Street. (Incidentally, my stalker sometimes uses Virginia tags, so the car could have been stalking-related instead of Indiana-related. But I should mention it, because Virginia is a state with a lot of military and paramilitary bases.)

Regardless of these trucks' activities, there isn't much that a single individual can do. Obviously the people involved, if engaged in the next "terrorist" attack, are working for some branch of the government. They're regular Americans and through their "employer", unstoppable. Reporting them to the government is like reporting a petty thief to his ringleader. So I'll post the information as-is to my web page, so readers can evaluate it and decide if they need to take action to protect themselves. For example, if you live near Chicago, or work in the Sears Tower, maybe next week would be a good time to use up a few of your sick days and head for the country...

Spook for the common good
Although I was able to gather some information by following suspicious trucks and taking footage of them, I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone. I've had a violent stalker for years, and have a number of gadgets with me for both surveillance and self-defense that others normally wouldn't carry. I've also had plenty of practice at photographing/filming people in a relatively covert fashion (have to get more evidence than just my log, after all), with an escape route already planned. Plus I really have an attitude from all the years of victimization, so most people are smart enough to back off. Fortunately for them, so far I haven't had to use a weapon. For others without high-zoom, night vision video cameras, the safest way to watch people like this is through binoculars, from a distance. It also helps to have a minimum of pencil & paper, a watch, and a decent camera with you at all times. Additional tools are a bonus.

Never talk about it
By the way, the main reason for my friend's call was to tell me about a Newsweek article on Afghans killed by asphyxiation, with complicity of US forces. They were locked in boxes with no ventilation. I told him I'd already read the article yesterday through a link on rense.com - http://www.msnbc.com/news/795153.asp?cp1=1. When my friend mentioned involvement of US Special Ops, I relayed something my brother had said last year. For background info, my brother joined the Reserves after one of his idiotic friends badgered him into doing so for the part-time income. Soon after the September 11th attacks, one of my brother's co-workers came into work at his REAL job, and told everyone that she'd seen a bunch of military trucks with "Special Operations" marked on them, heading toward Indiantown Gap. She turned toward my brother and asked him what "Special Operations" meant, knowing that he had at least a little military training.

"Special Ops? They're the guys who go in and kill a whole village, then never talk about it," he said.

Just something to think about...
